I was recently contacted by Design Shuffle offering to do a guest post for the blog.  After checking out the site, I agreed and am happy I did - I love that last bedroom especially!

Hi, my name is Joanna, and I'm a writer for Design Shuffle, an expansive online portfolio site for interior designers. I spend my days as a guest blogger, collecting beautiful images and writing about the designs they exhibit for blogs such as Wicked & Weird. Thanks to Lisa for allowing me to share some of my favorite dreamy bedrooms today! The ideal bedroom provides its owner with a place to release the cares of the outer world and become enveloped in a relaxed, pampered elegance. While each of us has a picture in our mind of our perfect bedroom, youíll have to agree the rooms included here are dreamy regardless of your style preference. Hopefully theyíll inspire a few interior design ideas of your own.

A lovely lavender bedroom whispers of femininity. The tufted sleigh bed and plush bed linens might have you turning over for a few extra decadent moments of sleep before jumping up to face the day.

A crystal clear acrylic bench and accent chair along with striking silver lights give this space a feeling of old Hollywood glamour. The bed is so inviting with its plump pillows and crisp linens.

Black in a bedroom design may seem a bit dismal. However, the designer of this room pulled it off brilliantly. Stylish elegance can be found in every corner. The velvet, leather and silk make striking bedfellows.

The warm gold floor and ceiling makes this beautiful bedroom warm and inviting. A full sitting area provides ample room to curl up with a good book or visit with spouse and family.

The palest of blues makes this attractive bedroom soothing and serene. A plush bed and soft carpet underfoot provide a comforting respite from worldly cares. This space has many interesting elements from which to draw decorating ideas.

This dreamy bedroom has personality to spare. Two zebra print stools are unexpected sitting atop a plush fur rug. A mix of trellis and zigzag print add interest at the bed and windows.

A vintage aerial map takes center stage at the head of an antique French bed. Again, weíre seeing an animal print thrown in for interest. A lovely white mirror hangs beside three intriguing reliefs.

A king-size velvet covered bed beckons to be laid upon. Zebra accent pillows add a fun element to an otherwise stately bedroom design.
